Quality and Process Excellence Leader

A global materials science and digital identification solutions company is seeking a Quality and Process Excellence Leader to drive quality assurance and process excellence across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Lead the integration of our Quality Management System (QMS) and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistently high standards for customers, reduce cost-of-poor-quality, and enhance operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and inspire the ANZ Quality Team, setting clear objectives and building future capability.
  • Elevate quality assurance, resolve claims effectively, and streamline business processes.
  • Champion ISO 9001 QMS and FSC standards, ensuring full compliance and retention of external certifications.
Operational Support:
  • Provide expert guidance on quality for warehousing, production, and product issues across the DC network.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training programs, and audit frameworks to embed best practice.
  • Minimise scrap, rework, and defective inventory through targeted initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related Business discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years in quality management, ideally within manufacturing and/or regional supply chains.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, FSC systems, CTQ performance parameters, and auditing.
