Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring efficient service to customers/clients by collecting full scrap metal bins and/or delivering empty bins in a timely fashion
  • Communicating with management to identify industry movement and activity or on-site concerns regarding OHS, environmental or collection issues
  • Working according to a daily plan for routine collections
  • Completing all work in accordance with site safety, environmental and quality procedures
  • Performing yard work as required

Requirements:

  • HR license with previous experience in a similar role
  • Forklift ticket
  • C6 crane ticket
  • Excellent customer service ethic
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
  • Flexibility to respond to transport and operations
