About the Role


We are seeking highly skilled Mental Health Nurses to join our team as Clinicians at Forensic Intervention Services (FIS), a specialist program area of Corrections Victoria.



Your Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment, working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, and develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Lead treatment interventions, employing evidence-based assessment tools, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.


About You


We are looking for experienced Mental Health Nurses who can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will possess strong assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Eligibility



  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
  • A current driver's licence.
