ICT Transition Project Lead

  • We are seeking an experienced ICT project lead to oversee the transition of ICT services from an internal arrangement to a shared services model.
">About the Role">

This role will involve managing the project end-to-end, supporting a small in-house IT team, and ensuring continuity, security, and strategic alignment throughout the process.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead the transition of ICT services to a shared services provider, ensuring value for money and service continuity.
  • Provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with agency leaders to understand and deliver on technology needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage contracts and agreements related to ICT services.
  • Ensure IT systems and data security, and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee daily operations of the ICT team, including staff and resource management.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Proven ability to lead medium-scale ICT projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Canberra.
  • Eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance.
