Transition ICT Services to Shared Services Arrangement

Our agency is undergoing a significant transformation by transitioning its ICT services from an internally managed model to a shared services arrangement with another government department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with the agency's business objectives, ensuring strategic value and efficiency.
  • Lead the transition of ICT services, ensuring continuity, cost-effectiveness, and a solution that meets the needs of stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on ICT-related matters.
  • Engage with business leaders to understand their technology requirements and ensure these are addressed throughout the transition process.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships between departments, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating mutual understanding and support.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and integrity of IT systems and data, upholding the agency's standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Financial Management - SFIA Level 4
  • Experience in managing financial records and budgets.
  • Project Management - SFIA Level 5
  • Proven experience in leading medium-scale ICT projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management - SFIA Level 5
  • Strong capability in identifying stakeholder needs and facilitating open communication, building trust and rapport.
