Energy Transition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Energy Transition Specialist to join our team. As an Energy Transition Specialist, you will play a key role in developing analysis and conveying insights to enhance clients' decision-making as they navigate the energy transition.

Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to client engagement by helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.

In this dynamic environment, you will enjoy autonomy, the opportunity to substantially influence major decisions in the energy sector, and to grow into industry experts under the guidance of directors with deep experience addressing major strategic issues.

This role would suit either a recent STEM graduate or a professional with up to three years of experience in the energy sector, management consulting, financial services, or a similar field.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision making
  • Work closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model results
  • Contribute to product development, identifying new opportunities and expanding capabilities
  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements
  • Communicate findings to clients
Key Requirements:
  • A first-class or high second-class degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance), coupled with a keen interest in energy markets and policy developments
  • 1-2 years of work experience in the energy sector or another professional field
  • An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
  • Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
  • An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
