Energy Retail Expert

This role is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in energy retail law and contribute to the success of our organization.
As a senior lawyer, you will provide expert advice on regulatory and contractual matters for our major energy retail business, ensuring compliance and supporting commercial objectives in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on regulatory and contractual matters, with a focus on energy retail law.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting commercial objectives.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to provide clear, commercially-driven advice.
- Managing external advisers as required.
- Navigating complex regulatory landscapes while balancing operational priorities.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in energy retail law, with solid regulatory and contractual experience. You will also have the ability to advise senior leaders and work independently in a busy in-house environment.
Required qualifications include:
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic sector.
