Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

KPMGau is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our Sydney team. As a key member of our Deal Advisory practice, you will play a critical role in executing transactions across various industries.
Your OpportunityAs a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing pricing and valuation reports, detailed financial models, and financial analysis for complex transactions
- Providing financial and commercial deal insights to buyers and vendors
- Supporting the execution of transactions and interacting with clients, financiers, and legal advisers
- Drafting transaction marketing materials, board and stakeholder presentations, and information memoranda
- Identifying issues, generating options, and recommending solutions to clients
- Identifying, investigating, and pursuing business development opportunities

To be successful as a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist, you will need:
- Recent and relevant experience working on transactions in an investment bank, corporate advisory firm, private equity, or accounting firm
- Suitable technical capabilities and accreditations, having completed or in progress to complete relevant post-graduate studies
- An appetite and enthusiasm for corporate finance, with a work ethic and motivation to achieve best outcomes for clients, KPMGau, and yourself
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
- Confident with your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
