Out-of-School Hours Care Leadership Position

As a coordinator of out-of-school hours care, you will be responsible for leading your own service. This involves providing high-quality before and after school care, as well as holiday programs that meet the needs of local families.
- You will be expected to design and deliver engaging programs for children aged 5-12 years.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers is essential in this role.
- You will also mentor and support your team to develop their skills and growth within the industry.
- Overseeing compliance and administrative tasks is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
This role requires someone who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives. While experience in childcare or out-of-school hours care is preferred, it is not essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed or currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification (teaching, childcare, community services, or similar).
- A valid employee working with children check for your state.
- Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 first aid in a childcare setting, relevant food safety, and mandatory reporting certificates, and a national criminal history check dated within six months.
Our organisation has been approved for the early childhood education and care retention payment, which means educators will earn an extra 10% on top of their award wage.
Working hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, plus weekly admin hours. The role is Monday to Friday only, with no weekend work involved.
