This is a senior leadership position within the healthcare services team, focusing on delivering high-quality care to inmates in a correctional facility.
- Lead and guide a team of registered nurses to ensure safe and effective delivery of primary health care and emergency services.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical leadership experience, with a background in acute, emergency, rural/remote, or correctional health. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical or management field would be highly regarded.
The role requires excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex situations and evaluate clinical risk.
As a key member of the health leadership structure, the Clinical Team Leader will play a crucial role in upholding safety standards, building trust, and leading with integrity.
Located on the NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, this area offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle surrounded by lush rainforests, sand dunes, and welcoming communities.
The successful applicant will work closely with other stakeholders to deliver impactful healthcare outcomes and support rehabilitation and reintegration programs for inmates.
The centre serves a large region from the Queensland Border to Kempsey and Tamworth, operating with a focus on rehabilitation, safety, and providing a decent and respectful environment for staff, inmates, and visitors.
