Job Overview

The primary function of this role is to integrate production planning and scheduling with the MES system, ensuring seamless alignment between operational goals and system functionalities.

This involves optimizing resource allocation, improving production timelines, and enhancing capacity management within the manufacturing environment.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Identify areas for improvement in production planning and detailed scheduling through the implementation of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of APS systems, their capabilities, and functionalities, with a focus on Parsec's Tracksys MES solution.
  • Collaborate with the MES team to ensure system functionalities align with real-world production requirements.
  • Validate and test scheduling functionalities within the APS to guarantee system reliability and accuracy.
  • Provide insights on resource allocation, lead times, and production constraints to enhance planning and scheduling processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • More than 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
  • Familiarity with MES and APS systems, including integration into manufacturing workflows.
  • Analytical skills to increase planning and scheduling processes based on data insights.
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
