We are seeking a skilled Bell Attendant to join our team at JW Marriott. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of unforgettable.

About the Role:

This is a full-time and part-time role available, offering a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including discounted room rates on hotels worldwide, discounts on food and beverages at participating Marriott International hotels, recognition programs, wellbeing & mindfulness programs, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and escort guests to rooms, providing personalized assistance throughout their stay.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property, always maintaining a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, as well as local areas of interest and activities.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in their surroundings.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area, taking care to ensure its safe and secure handling.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, keeping our guests' belongings organized and easily accessible.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage, always prioritizing their safety and convenience.
  • Supply guests with directions, helping them navigate our property and explore the surrounding area.
  • Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, recording advance transportation requests as needed.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring they understand how to safely park and retrieve their vehicles.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises, prioritizing the safety and security of our guests and colleagues.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, upholding the high standards of JW Marriott.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs with a genuine appreciation for their business.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, striving for excellence in every aspect of our service.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, such as small print.
  • Move at a speed required to respond to work situations, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time, if necessary.
