**Corporate Banking Specialist**

At our bank, we're committed to delivering insights and creative solutions that drive sustainable business growth.

The Corporate Banking team leads opportunities for new mid-market customers in diversified industries with both private and small/medium public companies. We focus on originating and on-boarding new-to-bank clients with lending requirements ranging from $5m - $200m, leading transactions where clients undertake M&A or other material corporate activity; Once a transaction is completed and the client is on-boarded, the ongoing management of the client is transferred to the Relationship Team so the Corporate Banking team can focus on the next transaction.

Do work that matters You'll support a dedicated team of Executives in analysing, structuring and modelling complex financing solutions to achieve overall team targets and business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to more complex corporate banking deals, work in a strong and successful business, and gain some outstanding exposure to deal flow in the Mid-Market segment.

Specifically, you'll:

  • Assess the viability and coordinate the execution of transactions;
  • Support the Corporate Banking and wider relationship teams on specific finance transactions through structured credit and financial modelling;
  • Prepare and present pitches to potential clients including board level, business owners and senior management teams.

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in considering business and market risk, writing and analysing credit transactions;
  • Have strong Excel skills and experience in financial modelling;
  • Can quickly grasp complex transactions, and have previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk experience;
  • Have an analytical mind with strong relationship management skills;
  • Have experience with legal documentation;
  • Are committed to team success, goal-oriented with a can-do attitude; and
  • A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
