About the Role

As a strategic finance partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success by empowering SMEs to manage their financial back-office with ease.

This dynamic role requires a unique blend of technical accounting expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for customer-centric solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for assigned customer groups, ensuring seamless service delivery and unlocking long-term value from our services.

A key aspect of this role is guiding customers through onboarding, managing ongoing service delivery, resolving major issues, and proactively engaging clients with insights and advice to improve retention and renewal outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of customers.
  • Proactively engage with customers to ensure high satisfaction, strong retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and upsell within the customer's financial back-office needs.
  • Advise customers on financial back-office efficiencies and provide actionable strategies to drive business improvement.
About You

You have an accounting background, with experience in client-facing roles such as Business Advisory, Client Accounting, or Public Practice Accounting. Your technical expertise enables you to effectively deliver our 'Insights' product, leveraging financial data to guide businesses on operational improvements.

You are a strong communicator who can convey complex ideas clearly, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You possess problem-solving skills, are highly collaborative, and can manage a team to results.

You are passionate about customer success, strategic financial advisory, and leveraging AI-driven solutions to create efficiencies for businesses.

Key Requirements
  • An Accounting degree, with CA/CPA qualification a plus.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, such as Business Advisory, Client Accounting, Virtual CFO, or Public Practice Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, bookkeeping, or back-office finance workflows.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into action plans for customers.
