Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to join our team.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term position that will play a vital role in delivering practical and efficient support to project teams and key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting projects, preparing data analyses, submissions, reports, publications, developing communications, and fostering strong internal and external relationships.

  • Deliver administrative support across key programs and initiatives to ensure smooth and effective project delivery.
  • Support research efforts by coordinating and supporting projects, preparing data analyses, submissions, reports, publications, and developing communications.
  • Foster strong internal and external relationships.
Skills Required
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Experience in cancer research and research management, including ethics submissions and reporting, will be highly advantageous.
  • Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
  • Project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives, and documentation.
