Project Coordinator

We're seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our AI Research team.

This role will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of projects and experiments. You will leverage your expertise in project coordination, along with your understanding of AI and machine learning, to bridge the gap between research objectives and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with AI Researchers to set project timelines and milestones, ensuring clarity and alignment across the team.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for progress updates, tracking, and issue resolution within AI research projects.
    • Facilitate planning and retrospective sessions to drive continuous improvement and optimise project workflows.
  • Transparency and Reporting:
    • Design and implement reporting mechanisms to maintain transparency on project status, risks, and dependencies.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive view of AI initiatives.
  • Process Optimisation:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline delivery workflows, reducing bottlenecks and enhancing productivity across projects.
    • Work closely with DevOps, Data, and Tooling teams to support process improvements, particularly in areas impacting AI research.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Product and Engineering to align research objectives with overall company goals.
    • Work alongside AI Researchers to establish clear documentation standards and practices that aid in knowledge sharing.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in project coordination roles such as Operations Manager or Programme Coordinator.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or experience working in an AI R&D environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to facilitate collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
  • A skilled stakeholder manager with experience working with senior leaders.
