Job Description

The Senior Analyst is responsible for a range of tasks completed by the Tax Team. These include processing team cases, such as cost base adjustments and withholding cases, EOFY tax reporting and processing for over 3000 investments to ensure accurate and timely production of IDPS tax statements and NWSF member balances, contribution to year end taxation project, including processing complex transactions in client accounts and preparation of Client tax statements, assistance with Rebate Process, including maintaining agreements from Fund Managers, calculating, reconciling and requesting payment, and allocation of rebates in accounts, and preparation and provision of ad hoc reports as requested by external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Working knowledge of ASX securities, international assets, bonds, managed funds, and other unlisted investments is required. Understanding of taxation implications for different income and capital transactions and impact across different entity types is also necessary. Additionally, the ability to proactively generate creative solutions to problems and ways to improve services, attention to detail, experience with Excel and MS Office products, 3 years' experience in a financial operations-based role, IDPS/Super platform or finance industry experience, and tax background or skillset are highly regarded.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. We are committed to this compensation range because of the skills and expertise required for this role.
