
Procurement Specialist

Job Opportunity:
The Supply Chain team is responsible for supporting project delivery by implementing procurement improvement initiatives.
This role requires a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and efficient procurement of materials, goods, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process creation and approval through SAP ERP Systems
- Monitor MR/PR conversion and PO approvals
- Verify data integrity in RFS for Purchase Order creation
- Release timely and accurate POs to Suppliers
- Provide analytics and fulfill SAP data requests
- Issue Purchase Orders with attachments via Document Control process
- Review planned expenditure against budget and obtain approval for procurements
- Work with Department Heads to identify procurement timelines
- Expedite deliveries with suppliers as required
- Manage cost and schedule variations, including project approvals and Purchase Order revisions
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Tertiary education certificate in admin related subjects – Business, Commercial, Supply Chain or Procurement
- Sound understanding of Procurement, Cost, and Stock Control procedures
- Experience in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Strong communication skills, professional attitude, and ability to respond to changing needs
- Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and mobility
- Well-developed time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
