Senior Director of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications

Are you a communications professional looking for a challenging role that combines public affairs and corporate communications? Do you have a passion for building strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, industry associations, and other key stakeholders?
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly developed offering, reporting to both the Head of Corporate and the Public and Government Affairs Lead. You will play a key role in delivering and activating integrated communications strategies, developing and executing advocacy strategies that influence the positive reputation and outcomes for clients with corporate and government stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in public affairs and corporate communications, with a strong understanding of media relations, public policy, and government relations. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read the room with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Support organic growth and new business opportunities with guidance from senior leadership.
- Crisis Management: Take a leading role in managing crisis, issues, and reputation programs.
- Client Leadership: Develop and manage key client relationships, becoming a trusted partner and driving growing client revenues.
- Experience: 8+ years in public affairs and corporate communications.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, commercial acumen, and budgeting and financial management experience.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
