About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our Mobile Equipment Maintenance department.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy diesel equipment.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining heavy diesel engine machinery and equipment to required standards
  • Performing servicing, maintenance, detecting, diagnosing and repairing machinery and equipment as required
  • Conducting thorough investigations of assets that enter the Workshop
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and assisting in correct identification of replacement parts including capturing and reporting parts usage on work orders

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience in the field
  • A proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan ahead and reschedule tasks as required
