Job Title: Senior Analyst
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to fill a key position within our team in Sydney, Australia.
You will play a pivotal role in contributing to our company's growth by developing analysis and conveying insights to enhance clients' decision-making as they navigate the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to inform clients' decision-making processes
- Collaborate closely with our modelling team to structure economic problems into quantifiable analyses and derive valuable insights from model results
- Contribute to product development by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Communicate findings effectively to clients through various channels
What We Are Looking For
Required Attributes- A first-class or high second-class degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance) combined with a keen interest in energy markets and policy developments
- More than 2 years of work experience in the energy sector or another professional field
- The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex quantitative data and information
- Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
- An ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
