Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage tax compliance and advisory services in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery of a professional, effective, and responsive tax service.

This role involves supporting Australian tax compliance obligations, providing tax advice to management and business units, and representing tax in internal and external forums.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational tax compliance across all business units.
  • Manage tax accounting and audit activities, including indirect tax, transfer pricing, and employment taxes.
  • Provide tax advice on business initiatives, corporate transactions, and developments in tax laws.
  • Support the head of tax in implementing tax strategies and policies to manage tax exposures and risks.
  • Identify areas of potential tax risks and drive improvements to processes, controls, and systems.
  • Liaise with local stakeholders on tax issues and escalate matters to the head of tax as required.
