Job Overview

This role is a Field Operations position that involves working in remote locations across regional NSW.

The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively and work away from home on a 21-day on / 7-day off roster.

We are looking for someone who thoroughly enjoys working away in site teams or commuting to project sites.

The position will involve assisting in the installation of Optic Fibre cables for the Telstra network on the Inter City Fibre Network (ICF) project.

  • Rod, Rope & Hauling – hauling multiple cables by hand & machinery, quality checks.
  • Civil activities – repair blockages, operate plant and equipment such as dozer, excavator, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes and HR trucks.
  • Labouring duties – cut and repair fences, undertake excavation using hand and mechanical methods.

  • Current driver's licence
  • Current Construction White card

  • Operator & VOC Excavator

  • Pit, Pipe & Cable Hauling course
  • Current senior first aid certificate
  • Current level 2 traffic management implementation coarse
  • Work safety at heights
  • Asbestos awareness certificate
  • High Risk License
  • Vehicle loading crane
