HelloFresh is seeking an exceptional Key Engineering Leader to spearhead our food technology platform. Based in Sydney, this role offers a unique blend of innovation and collaboration.

About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of microservices for our SCM platform using Python and Go. You will collaborate closely with the product owner to shape the roadmap and deliver scalable, impactful solutions that drive business growth globally.

Responsibilities

  • Backend Expertise: Architect, design, and develop microservices using Python and Go for our SCM platform, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work with the product owner to shape the product delivery roadmap, upholding top engineering standards and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide coaching, pair programming, and code reviews to help your team achieve exceptional results.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Utilize agile methodologies and continuous improvement techniques to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in backend development with Python and Go, as well as AWS expertise, focusing on architectural design and scalable solutions.
