Estimator Role

About the role:

This is an opportunity for a skilled Estimator to join our Operations team at Boral North America. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting tender submissions for various projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Enter and update projects into the estimate database
  • Unpack tender invitations and review documentation
  • Perform take-offs and measure quantities
  • Prepare unit rates and pricing estimates
  • Negotiate tenders with clients
  • Hand over tenders to the production team
  • Assist the production team with queries during project execution
  • Assist with take-offs for large variations

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Engineering
  • Experience as an Estimator or Project Engineer
  • Site or concrete structure experience beneficial
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines
  • High standard of customer focus
