Supply Chain Coordinator Role

The role of Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of hospital services by delivering timely and efficient supply management.

About the Role
  • Pick, pack, and deliver stock orders to meet service demands.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies following quality control standards.
  • Support theatre departments by maintaining adequate stock levels and adhering to AS4187 standards for handling and storage of sterile stock.
  • Prepare usage reports to maintain appropriate stock levels and inform procurement decisions.
  • Assist in tracking back orders, alternate products, and time-sensitive stock requirements.

This position requires a highly organized individual who thrives in a busy environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The ability to adapt quickly to changing demands is essential for success in this role.

About You
  • Previous experience in a supply or stores role, particularly in a healthcare setting, is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management principles and processes, including receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in SAP and RF Scanner systems desirable.
  • A positive attitude, team focus, and commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential.
