Acoustic Consultant

A highly skilled and ambitious acoustic professional is sought to join a high-performing team in Sydney.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications, up to 3 years of consulting experience, and expertise in noise measurement and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other personnel on local, national, and global projects within the acoustics and vibration consulting team.
  • Involvement with various project tasks including client liaison, data management, execution of technical tasks, and report deliverables.
  • Contribute to other acoustics and vibration projects within the team, focusing on noise and vibration measurement and monitoring, modelling predictions, numerical analysis of results, and associated reporting.

The selected candidate will work on high-profile and large-scale projects within the APAC region and NSW, requiring a broad knowledge and understanding around measurement/monitoring methodologies and techniques to solve complex problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or science (physics), postgraduate qualifications an advantage.
  • Up to 3 years' consulting experience, preferably in environmental sciences.
  • Strong analytical, verbal/written communication, and technical report writing skills.
