Talent Acquisition Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our recruitment efforts in Perth, Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale recruitment campaigns on major projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about talent acquisition, human resources, and the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies that align with our workforce planning objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the construction industry.
  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters to ensure timely mobilization of personnel across all phases of project execution.
  • Liaise with senior project stakeholders to forecast manpower needs and align recruitment activity accordingly.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment operations, including requisition management, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian labor laws and company policies in all recruitment activities.
  • Implement and optimize recruitment systems and processes to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field, with postgraduate qualifications desirable.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale recruitment campaigns on major capital projects, including high-volume and specialist technical roles.
  • Experience overseeing both internal recruiters and recruitment administrators, with a focus on performance, process efficiency, and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, meeting demanding mobilization schedules and fluctuating hiring needs.
