About the Project:

We are collaborating with government agencies to deliver an innovative metro rail infrastructure project in Western Sydney.

We seek an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Supervision & Traffic Team, reporting to the Traffic Manager.

The Opportunity:

Support the Traffic Manager in implementing Construction Traffic Management Plans and ensuring safety throughout the delivery of the SSTOM works.

A Traffic Supervisor coordinates daily activities with the wider delivery team and Traffic Management Contractors, monitoring implemented traffic management to ensure compliance with approved plans and relevant technical manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate traffic management implementation by Traffic Management Contractors to meet project requirements and maintain safety;
  • Inspect works completed by Contractors and compile reporting and records of inspections and corrective measures;
  • Assist with establishing protocols and responding to traffic safety incidents relating to construction activities;
  • Ensure timely approvals and report any departures from approved plans;
  • Monitor and assist in preparing updated Construction Traffic Management Plans as required.

Candidates

We are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge and experience in managing resources required for short-term and long-term traffic management. Relevant qualifications include a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Card for PWZ, IMP, and TCR. Our ideal candidate will have minimum 5+ years' experience working in a similar role.
