Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement content strategies to engage our Punjabi-speaking audiences and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Produce high-quality digital content, including podcasts, articles, and audiovisual content, that showcases the diversity and richness of the Punjabi language and culture.
- Collaborate with our language teams to develop and implement content plans that meet the needs of our Punjabi-speaking audiences.
- Source and produce original stories and audio-visual digital content of interest to the Punjabi-speaking communities in Australia.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders and organizations, to ensure that our content is relevant and engaging to our audiences.
- Contribute to the development of our content calendar and ensure that our content is aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with our editorial and production teams to ensure that our content is of high quality and meets our editorial standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities to innovate and improve our content offerings.
- High proficiency in both English and Punjabi, with the ability to write, speak, and type in both languages.
- Demonstrated experience in professional broadcast journalism, including the planning, preparation, production, presentation, and delivery of multi-platform content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using digital content management systems and other relevant software and equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
