Role Overview

We’re seeking a talented Digital Content Designer to join our team at Bigwave Digital. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in elevating our digital creative and making a significant impact on a global scale.

About the Position

As a Digital Content Designer, you will report directly to the Head of Digital Marketing and be responsible for leading creative development across all marketing channels. This includes producing high-quality digital assets that align with UX/UI best practices, creating engaging content that increases conversion, engagement, and reach across websites, social media, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Creation: Manage integrated marketing campaigns from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with best practices across multiple media channels and incorporating UX/UI insights to optimize user engagement.
  • Social & Website Design: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to plan and design content for social channels and create website assets that maintain consistency and optimize the user experience.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Stay on top of social trends and use data to improve the effectiveness of your designs, testing, monitoring, and iterating on designs for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and EDMs to ensure they’re delivering results.
  • Ownership of Creative Assets: Take full responsibility for the design and execution of style guides across all communications, from social media to brand and website assets, ensuring all digital content is visually cohesive and adheres to UX/UI best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with external agencies or freelancers to produce top-quality photography and videography content and manage the global creative database.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation, including marketing and website design that follows UX/UI best practices.
  • Proficient in key Adobe applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and other tools like Canva, CapCut, and Figma. Motion graphics experience is a bonus.
  • A portfolio showcasing your experience in creating engaging content across platforms.
  • Strong understanding of visual design, including typography, layout, and composition. Knowledge of video formats and workflows is essential.
  • Basic copywriting skills to complement your designs.
  • A true team player with the ability to collaborate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, travel, tourism, or two-sided marketplaces is preferred.
  • Knowledge of international expansion (especially US and UK markets) would be advantageous.
