We're seeking a skilled Digital Content Designer to join our team at Bigwave Digital. As a key member of our marketing team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging digital content that drives user experience and conversion across our marketing channels.

About the Role:

You'll work closely with our Head of Digital Marketing to develop creative concepts that align with our brand's purpose and values. Your main goal will be to design and produce high-quality digital assets that meet UX/UI best practices and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Creation: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that incorporate UX/UI insights to optimize user engagement.
  • Social & Website Design: Collaborate with our marketing team to plan and design content for social channels and websites, ensuring consistency and optimal user experience.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Stay up-to-date with social trends and use data to improve the effectiveness of your designs, testing and iterating on designs for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and EDMs.
  • Ownership of Creative Assets: Take ownership of the design and execution of style guides across all communications, ensuring all digital content is visually cohesive and adheres to UX/UI best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with external agencies or freelancers to produce top-quality photography and videography content, and manage the global creative database.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation, including marketing and website design that follows UX/UI best practices.
  • Proficient in key Adobe applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and other tools like Canva, CapCut, and Figma. Motion graphics experience is a bonus.
  • A portfolio showcasing your experience in creating engaging content across platforms.
  • Strong understanding of visual design, including typography, layout, and composition. Knowledge of video formats and workflows is essential.
  • Basic copywriting skills to complement your designs.
  • A true team player with the ability to collaborate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, travel, tourism, or two-sided marketplaces is preferred.
  • Knowledge of international expansion (especially US and UK markets) would be advantageous.
