Senior Commercial Property Claim Specialist

This is a senior role within the commercial claims team, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of complex and sensitive commercial property claims.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial claims, with excellent knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of complex/sensitive/high risk commercial property claims.
- Act as a referral point for claims officers to provide advice and approvals above authority.
- Review and settle problematic cases.
- Set reserves and authorise payment within scope of authority.
- Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial claims.
- Excellent knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
- Experience in providing advice to peers within a claims team.
- Experience in dealing with broker networks.
