Role Overview: We are seeking an Aboriginal Health Worker to provide culturally sensitive care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver healthcare services within the Alcohol Drug Service, ensuring cultural sensitivity for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Support staff in providing culturally safe and respectful care to Aboriginal patients and families.
  • Liaise with key community organisations, particularly Aboriginal Community groups and services.

About You: To be successful in this role, you must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, possess a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and health needs, and have excellent communication and computer skills.
