About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator Lead to join our team at Parkville Youth Justice Precinct. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for building discipline-specific capability and leading comprehensive quality improvement and clinical governance activities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communities of practice, promote reflective practice, and workplace coaching interventions in line with cohealth's supervision policy
  • Maintain individual and team's currency in clinical skills and professional development
  • Work collaboratively internally with the Parkville Youth Justice leadership team, nursing team, allied health and GPs
  • Undertake professional practice in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Current AHPRA registration (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Knowledge of the Youth Justice System and understanding of the restrictions, limitations and considerations health care delivery within this system
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the Youth Justice System and continuous quality improvement
  • Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills with capacity to work effectively with managers, staff, and consumers
