Job DescriptionThe Participation Coordinator plays a key role in delivering participation programs, including NAB AFL Auskick and school programs.
This role involves using a targeted approach to gain maximum participation, while promoting inclusive, respectful, and safe environments.
The coordinator will be based in the field, working with schools, local Auskick centres, and clubs to achieve program objectives.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate the delivery of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs, focusing on quality and growth.
- Recruit and coordinate Auskick and Superkick Coordinators.
- Implement regional action plans to ensure targeted delivery of programs for maximum participation impact.
- Liaise with teachers, schools, and other program stakeholders to increase School Teacher Members.
- Support ongoing training and education for casual staff to deliver AFL Programs.
- Book and deliver school programs to increase participation across key segments.
- Support School Football pathways to increase participants registering for School Football.
- Deliver programs to support transition and retention of Community Footballers.
- Experience working with children and young people, with a valid Working with Children Check and satisfactory criminal history record check.
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Qualifications in Sports Coaching / Management, Recreation, Education, or equivalent depth of experience.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office suite and Child Safety Standards.
