About This Role

As a leading educator, you will play a key role in driving improvement in literacy and numeracy outcomes for young people.

  • Develop and implement targeted staff development programs to enhance literacy and numeracy strategies
  • Track and analyze data to inform progress and review
  • Provide timely reports as required by senior leadership
  • Work with teaching teams to set goals and implement targeted adjustments for Young People IEPs
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to collate NCCD data and evidence to improve young people's outcomes
  • Design and implement engaging formation experiences for staff and young people
  • Develop and implement Social Justice and Solidarity initiatives for staff and young people

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning and teaching programs that cater to diverse needs
  • Create innovative curriculum designs that engage students, including project-based learning activities
  • Implement class and individual student learning programs that meet legislative requirements with respect to young people with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Design inclusive learning programs that reflect diversity within the classroom
  • Contribute to the development of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for each young person and evaluate the ILP process
  • Support the achievement of Flexible Learning School objectives and planning
  • Contribute to maintaining a supportive school environment
