We are seeking a retail professional to lead our supermarket team in a remote First Nations community.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience managing electronic retail systems and stock control, with a strong understanding of First Nations culture and community needs.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote community
  • Train and mentor local team members on merchandising, nutrition, and customer service skills
  • Maintain relationships with local stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Minimum three years' experience in retail management, preferably in a remote community setting
  • Strong knowledge of electronic retail systems, including stock control, point of sale, and staff management
  • Certificate III in Retail or willingness to obtain within the first 12 months
