Lead Performance and Risk Strategist

This challenging role involves driving engineering excellence through the development of performance metrics and risk management strategies. The successful candidate will lead the global Independent Technical Review (ITR) programme, shaping technical risks and understanding across the organisation's engineering operations.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive background in systems engineering, with proven experience conducting technical reviews. They should have a broad experience across commercial and defence projects and a strong understanding of technical risk and performance management.

  • Manage and continuously improve the ITR process
  • Conduct ITRs globally and analyse themes, metrics, and risks to inform improvement initiatives
  • Develop Technical Performance Metrics (TPMs) and implement data capture solutions
  • Support the operation of the Technical Risk Review Board (TRRB), including reporting and secretariat duties
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status with a recognised professional body, or ability to obtain within 12 months of joining
  • Extensive background in systems engineering
  • Proven experience conducting technical reviews
  • Broad experience across commercial and defence projects
  • Strong understanding of technical risk and performance management
  • Security Clearance
