Ballarat Ambassador Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to be the face of our city, providing information and welcoming visitors to Ballarat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet customers, visitors, and community members at the Ballarat Information Centre.
  • Engage with visitors and community while roaming the city centre.
  • Conduct tours of the city centre, highlighting significant sites of interest.
  • Assist in delivering events to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
  • A passion for Ballarat's history and culture.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Availability to commit to at least one four-hour shift per week for a minimum of one year.
  • Flexibility to assist with additional shifts when needed.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing learning and training.
  • A commitment to our values.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, and confidently speak to groups of people.
