Home-Based Child Educator Position Available

This family is seeking a qualified child educator to join their household for a fun filled adventure with their 11 year old child who has ASD. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient and able to provide guidance and support around social and life skills.
The role involves working 2 days per week with the child, participating in activities such as scooting, kicking a soccer ball and going on adventures. The educator will have the opportunity to work closely with the family to develop a personalized learning plan that meets the child's needs and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality care and education to the child
- Develop and implement a personalized learning plan that meets the child's needs and interests
- Work closely with the family to ensure the child's physical, emotional and educational needs are met
Requirements:
- Early Childhood Education & Care Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
- At least 3 professional references
- WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
- A car and driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia
