About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Educator to provide high-quality care and education to a 3-year-old child in a home-based setting. This role is perfect for someone who values building strong relationships with young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging educational programs that cater to the child's unique needs and promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that encourages the child's independence and self-confidence.

  • Develop effective communication strategies with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistency and continuity of care.

  • Cultivate accurate records of the child's progress and development.

  • Collaborate with other educators to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or higher completed or near completion.

  • A valid Working With Children Check.

  • A current First Aid Certificate.

  • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated.

  • A passion for early childhood education.

  • The ability to follow directions.

  • Good interpersonal skills and intermediate computer skills.

  • A strong command of standard English in both written and spoken form.

  • A positive work ethic.

  • Punctuality and diligence.

  • A positive attitude.

  • A thirst for knowledge and growth.
