Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Energy Lawyer and Compliance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Legal, Governance & Regulatory function, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, commercially orientated legal advice and services.

Your primary responsibility will be to advise on complex energy projects, including construction law, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution. You will work closely with our business units to manage legal risk and provide strategic guidance on major projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of energy-related matters, from joint venture agreements to general commercial contracts. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our business operates within a compliant and risk-managed framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Admitted to practice as a Legal Practitioner in Australia with a current practising certificate.
  • Strong hands-on experience advising on major projects, including construction law and contracts.
  • Excellent contract interpretation, drafting, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of major projects gained from law firm training or in-house experience.
  • Technical skills to drive strategy and work as a trusted advisor to the business.
