Civil Construction Project Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure the day-to-day site works of the project are delivered successfully, with both internal and external commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the civil construction industry in South Australia across a broad scope of works, particularly subdivision construction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
  • A positive 'make it happen' approach focused on getting the job done without compromising safety, quality, and environmental objectives.
  • Good understanding of best resourcing to deliver efficiencies.
  • Develop clear objectives, measures, and targets for people, monitor performance against expectations, and take action through training, coaching, and other development activities to enhance the skills of the project team.
  • Ability to meet schedule and budget targets.
  • Willingness to get hands dirty.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with team members and client representatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Lead Hand ideally within the civil sector.
  • Hold a current Australian driver's license.
