About the role

Bennett Plumbing and Civil is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Civil Construction Supervisor to join our team in Adelaide. In this full-time position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate civil construction crews to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Subdivisions, Community titles, Warehouse, local services and road construction
  • Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and procedures
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally
  • Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
  • Assist in scheduling and planning daily and weekly construction activities
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Civil Construction Supervisor role or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes, equipment, and materials
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering and construction plans with accuracy
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Valid driver's licence and current construction safety certifications (e.g. White Card)
