The company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their high-performing Legal Team on a 12-month contract.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will be working closely with Directors and GMs in each region and partnering closely with the business as one of the company's key legal and strategic advisers.

Responsibilities
  • You will have 6-10+ years' experience in front-end construction law gained from within a well-respected Australian law firm and/or large corporate environment.
  • You have been involved in large construction projects and can demonstrate strategic, innovative, and creative solutions as well as the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • You're happy to roll up your sleeves on the legal side as well as provide leadership and strategic support to the business.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-10+ years' experience in large construction projects (front-end)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • High level of commercially astute advice
  • Negotiation skills to achieve commercial outcomes
  • Confidence, pro-active, and team-oriented
