Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medication Management
Description:
The role requires an advanced clinical nurse specialist to provide expertise in electronic medication management systems, ensuring the safety, continuity, and service improvement of patients.
This position involves practicing in accordance with a code of ethics, professional standards, and legislation affecting nursing practice. The successful candidate will possess advanced specialist knowledge and experience in electronic medication management, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and expert clinical judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in relation to Pyxis and medication management systems.
- Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7.
- Promote high-quality patient care through effective use of technology and evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Advanced specialist knowledge and experience in electronic medication management systems.
- Critical thinking and reasoning, problem-solving skills, and expert clinical judgment.
- Able to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
