We are seeking a skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our clinical team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering empathetic and respectful patient care in a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care that is grounded in psychological principles, trauma-informed practices, and a recovery-oriented perspective.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote positive relationships and tailored programs.
  • Work collaboratively to foster a culture of safety, respect, and compassion throughout the service.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.
  • A bachelor's degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent plus an approved postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated capacity and initiative to operate with autonomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
