About the Role

This role is primarily based at our Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home. We support a dynamic culture with adjusted working hours and remote work options.

The Hardware team develops power electronics systems according to our technology roadmap to help achieve our mission.

We're seeking an Electronics Engineer with significant experience in battery management systems, planning, and managing innovative power electronics projects, as well as production expertise.

The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative projects, drive product quality improvements, test and validate design concepts, mentor others, and enhance the skills of the broader engineering team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing BMS (Battery Management Systems), including second-life batteries.
  • Developing power converters using mathematical analysis, modeling, and simulation.
  • Providing specialized engineering support in power electronics for battery management.
  • Supporting product requirements.
  • Creating printed circuit boards using Altium Designer.
  • Maintaining suitable documentation of work conducted.
  • Engaging in ad-hoc engineering tasks and activities as needed.
