Electronics Development Expert

Seeking an experienced electronics development expert to lead the design and development of electrical systems for a humanoid robot. Key responsibilities include architecting production-ready electronics, ensuring robustness, reliability, and expressiveness.

  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and industrial design teams to seamlessly integrate sensors, power systems, and embedded platforms.
  • Own schematic and PCB layout, adhering to best-in-class practices around grounding, power integrity, and DFM.
  • Conduct in-depth circuit analysis and debugging to refine performance and prepare the robot for real-world challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in high-speed board design and robust power regulation/distribution.
  • Proficiency with Altium (or equivalent) for schematic and PCB layout.
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience in circuit analysis, debugging, and validation.
  • Familiarity with embedded programming and microcontroller integration.
  • In-depth understanding of short-circuit protection, switching power supplies, and innovative power management methods.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical CAD and ability to collaborate effectively with mechanical and industrial designers.
  • Proven track record of supporting manufacturing and supply chain processes.
